This fun, family-friendly event is open to all ages and ability levels and will include a lesson. Expect a lively mix of squares, sets, circles, contras, and waltzes. Jared Bishop, Maddy Smith, and Katie Stahl will be calling and playing the tunes. *All children must have an adult chaperone.*

Neon Creek is an “electro-trad” duo from Philadelphia that blends the tunes you know and love with novel electronic textures. Featuring Chloe Rosenthal (keyboard/synth/computer) and Jared Bishop (fiddle), the duo uses live looping, layered effects, and in-the-moment improvisation to interpret trad tunes in a new light.
Dance starts at 7:30pm at Lovely Lane Church in Charles Village.
Admission is: $10 for members and affiliates (FSGW, ATDS), $15 for non-members, Free for people under 21 and full-time students

Tuesday, November 10 2026 BFMS Song Swap Join us for an In-Person Song Swap at the Four Hour Day Lutherie in Lauraville, 4305 Harford Rd, Baltimore, MD 21214 We meet once a month in-person on the 2nd Tuesday, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Bring a favorite folk-genre song or two to share with our community of singers. Chorus songs or repeated refrains are encouraged. You can lead a song, sing along, hum, listen, or add some accompaniment. No mic, no pressure, no performance. Just singing together in a friendly, supportive space! Free (pass-the-hat goodwill donation welcome) REMEMBER: If you are sick, not feeling well, etc., please stay home.
