How to join the Society

Benefits of membership include:

Discounts at BFMS-sponsored events.

Reciprocity agreements that allow our members to attend events sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, and the Annapolis Traditional Dance Society at their member's rates.

Membership in the Society is open to anyone.
The cost for a 1 year membership is $27/year for individuals; $37 for families (2 or more people living at the same address).
You can save money with a multi-year membership:
2 years - $50 individual $71 family
3 years - $69 individual $93 family

Membership dues are tax-deductible.

Special Membership:
Contributor - $75
Supporter   - $150
Sustainer    - $250
Patron        - $500

A Student membership is available for $20/year.

Please tell us if you do not want your name, address, or phone number published in our membership directory. Email addresses are not published, but may be used by the Society to send notices of coming special events.

The annual Thanksgiving Burn Off the Calories dance. Open Band led by Liz Donaldson. Open Mic for callers. Contra, English and Squares. 8PM to 10:30 PM at St Marks on the Hill. Bring your left over deserts to share.
