Second Saturday Square & Contra Dance

The Baltimore Folk Music Society presents American Square and Contra Dancing on the 2nd Saturday of the month running from 7:00 'till 9:30 pm or from 8:00 'till 10:30 (see dance listing), with a short break in the middle.

Admission is: $10 BFMS Members & Affiliates, $15 non-members. Under 21 and full-time students with ID: Free.
Beginners, singles, couples, and families are welcome. No Experience necessary; you don't need to bring a partner.

Folk music and dance from Central France and Brittany, 3:00 - 5:30 pm | Doors open at 2:30 in Adelphi MD. Dance instruction by Lisa Tamres (dances from Central France) and Fabien Goulay (dances from Brittany). Music by Gonzo Bal Folk: hurdy gurdy, fiddle, French bagpipe, accordion, mandolin & didgeridoo. $15 donation requested for those over 12. All are welcome- beginners, seasoned, singles, groups.
