Location: Lovely Lane Church, 2200 St Paul St, Baltimore, MD 21218
Featuring Devine Comedy ~ Steve Hickman, fiddle and harmonica, Marty Taylor, whistles and concertina, John Devine, guitar, with Bobby LaRose, piano, and Laurie Andres, accordion
Andy Kane, April Blum, and DeLaura Padovan, calling
1:30-3:30pm: Family Dance with DeLaura Padovan calling beginner-friendly dances to the music of Devine Comedy
3:30-5:30pm: Couples dancing with Laurie Andres. Hambo lesson at 3:30pm led by Tom Zeller and Joyce Duncan
5:30-7pm: Dinner on your own at local restaurants
7:15pm: Grand March
7:30-10:30pm: The BFMS 50th Anniversary Dance with April Blum and Andy Kane calling contras, English country dances, and squares to the music of Devine Comedy
10:30-midnight: After-party at Fadensonnen, 3 West 23rd Street
Thanks to a generous donation, admission to the Anniversary Dance will be at 1975 prices ($2 non-members, $1 members). Additional donations gratefully accepted!

Gentle English Country Dance Series Details...
Gentle English" are English country dances from all periods selected to be gentle on the knees, hips, feet, and backs of the dancers. BFMS plans to hold three or four Gentle English dances a year.

The Song Swap is a place for folks to come together and share songs, community, and keep the live singing tradition thriving.

We are going live and in person at the 4 Hour a Day Lutherie in Lauraville, 4305 Harford Rd, Baltimore, MD 21214 Once a month on the 2nd Tuesday, 7:30-9:30 p.m. We're delighted to be singing in person! Bring a favorite folk-genre song or two to share with our community of singers. Chorus songs or repeated refrains are encouraged. You can lead a song, sing along, hum, listen, or add some accompaniment. No mic, no pressure, no performance. Just singing together in a friendly, supportive space! Free (pass-the-hat goodwill donation welcome)
REMEMBER: If you are sick, not feeling well, etc., please stay home.
