BFMS Picnic
Join old and new friends at the BFMS picnic at the beautiful Lake Roland Park! t The picnic is a great chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Lots of opportunities to join a song swap or a jam.
You are welcome to invite friends and family to join the fun! Much information about the park is available on their website: http://lakeroland.org.
Come and meet the current BFMS Board and share your ideas about BFMS activities that you would like to see in the future.
Parking is limited in the park, so carpooling is helpful. You may also park at the Falls Road light rail station and walk to the park, a boardwalk path connects to the park.
Pavilion # 2 is up a fairly steep hill. If you need help to get there, the park offers rides in their vehicle. Please contact us by October 5 to request and reserve assistance. We will be delighted to help. specialevents@bfms.org
Our folk clothes, dance shoes, CD swap is usually a big hit. If you do not have anything to contribute, but want to take something home, please consider putting a contribution into the hat.
Bring your own picnic, but you are encouraged to bring finger food for an appetizer or dessert to share with others.
Mount Washington Whole Foods is nearby to purchase food for your picnic. Pepe’s restaurant is one of a number of good nearby restaurants to pick up food. It has delicious pizza and other yummy items. www.pepes6081.com
