6-10 pm at the Atlantic Ballroom 8819 Orchard Tree Lane, Towson, Maryland 21286. Kate Spanos calling. Peter Fitzgerald and the J. Patrick's All Stars will be providing the live music for the evening. We provide pitchers of water and ice for participants, as well as a limited supply of soda, pretzels and chips. Participants may bring beer or wine for their personal consumption, but distilled beverages are not permitted. As always, we encourage attendees to bring a snack or dessert to share. Wearing face masks is optional. However, if you are not feeling well the day of the Ceili, or within a few days prior - please stay home - whether or not COVID is confirmed. Music by Tangerine Tempo. Dance in the Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park to a lively mix of folk waltzes with a few other couples’ dances, including Tango, Hambo, Swing, and Polka. Admission is $15, $5 for full-time students with ID. No partner required. The waltz lesson begins at 2:45 p.m. with a half-hour of beginner instruction and 15 minutes for an intermediate or advanced move.
